Leeds Schools Music Association Festival Choir at Leeds Town Hall

These fantastic choir members from KS2 were part of an exciting opportunity this Christmas; singing with hundreds of other Leeds school children at the Town Hall, as part of the annual Festival Concert. Here they are, ready to go on stage! With their brilliant efforts and superb attitudes, they really did us proud!

Otley Carnival Poster competition

We are hugely proud of our artists in school who entered the Otley Carnival Poster competition. The following children received awards in their age category: Lara in Y2 Harriet in Y3 Milly and Abigail in Y4 We are also thrilled to announce that Emma was judged overall winner in the competition! She attended an award ceremony where she was presented with the winner's shield, a T-shirt with her design printed on it and a certificate!

We are so proud of the choir members who took part in the Family of Schools 'Musical Extravaganza' at Yeadon Town Hall on Thursday 17th March. They sang and smiled their way through three fantastic songs: 'Lollipop', 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' and 'Spread a Little Happiness' - all in front of a packed theatre of proud parents!

They then joined with the other children from Ashfield, All Saints, St Joseph's, The Whartons, Westgate and Prince Henry's in a giant rendition of: 'In the Jungle'!

Thank you to Mrs Di Palma-Heath who gave her own time to rehearse with the children and accompany them to the concert.

A big thank you to all the pupils who entered the Art competition to brighten up Mrs Fox's office! There was some wonderful work and lots of effort had clearly been put in.

The following children will have their work displayed after Easter when the office has been painted:

Albion, Gracie and Martha E (Rec); Tom and Dan (Y2); Sophie, Milly and Isabelle (Y3); Fred (Y4); Izabella and Isaac (Y5); Niamh (Y6)
