School Community  »  Parent Forums, Meetings and Workshops  »  Pool School: Moving Forward

Firstly, we’d like to say a big thank you to the parents, governors and staff who attended our first ever forum meeting on Wednesday 30th September 2015. The evening proved very positive; everyone who attended felt they had good opportunities to share their views, express ideas and listen to others.

For those who couldn’t make it, some main themes for discussion were around:

  • the strengths of the school, backed by a ‘Good’ Ofsted judgment
  • the exciting times ahead for our school community
  • taking time to make decisions which are right for us
  • the qualities we want to foster in our children and for them to leave Pool with
  • how to build on effective practice already happening in our school
  • how ideas and suggestions from this forum can feed into the School Development Plan (SDP) and into the Leeds ‘Big Education Debate’
